# Grinnell Education

I have a B.A. in Mathematics from Grinnell College, a small liberal arts college in Grinnell, IA. Grinnell has no required classes, so I just took whatever I wanted to. I chose to specialize in mathematics, so I took 13 mathematics courses; but I wanted to learn a little bit about as many different subjects as possible, so I took one or two courses in quite a few departments. Here is a list of all the courses I took:

- Calculus II
- European History, 1650–Present
- Literary Analysis
- Tutorial: Math, Music, and Literature
- Introduction to Biological Inquiry
- Introduction to Philosophy
- Linear Algebra
- The Craft of Poetry
- Combinatorics
- Differential Equations
- Elementary Greek
- Introduction to Anthropology
- Problem Solving Seminar (taken twice)
- Foundations of Analysis
- Intermediate Greek
- Major Asian Religions
- American History II
- Foundations of Abstract Algebra
- Topology
- Automata, Formal Languages, and Computational Complexity
- Field Theory
- Introduction to Political Science
- Algorithms
- Beginning Chinese

- The Craft of Fiction
